Breaking News!! Gleeson Judo are soon to be offering the re-published books of G. R. Gleeson: "Judo for the West", "Anotomy of Judo" & "Judo Inside Out". Three of the most pivotal books he wrote, dating back to the 1960s but still very relevant today. More for the Judo scholars amoungst you.

so if you feel like it, follow what "GleesonJudo" is doing on that.
We'd really love to have more of you coming along to the Saturday morning sessions. It's be a great opportunity for further development of your Judo. Even if its only once a term.

1. We've now got Gleeson Judo bags.
Judo suits easily fit into them, they are water resistant and have a nice big pocket for you grading book! Pictures on the Members page
so along with the T-shirt now avaliable you'll look very smart and blue :-)
2. We thinking of running a "summer school" through the month of August on the four Saturday mornings at the venue we use for that club. Information will be coming out soon - would you be interested?
Don't forget you can "drop in" on our Saturday classes any time, they lasts for an hour & cost just £6. You can then train with people you don't know or have only met at our "camps". The more practise you get the better you'll get! Details are on the Dates page along with a google map link. Give us a ring if you're unsure of anything. Thanks

Great "Camp" yesterday. Lots of new faces!
Everyone said it was great fun and that they learnt more about their Judo.
Next "Camp" is on Monday 30 May, over in our 'Bristol' venue. Put it in your diaries now!

European Championships, held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Britain got 2 Bronze Medals...

All sign-up letters are now downloadable on the 'dates' page. WASPS dates have had to be changed slightly. All others are still ok, to date. Saturday session dates are ok.

Very nice 'camp; yesterday. I'm glad someone spotted the obvious mistake on the 'events' page, ie the wrong mouth! Some very nice work done. Hope all remember what they learnt? Tactics, very important. Well hope to see more of you next time - more the merrier! Happy Easter Hols.!

Great session yesterday afternoon! Everyone did really well. Quite a few 'friends' came so it was a real mixed bag of talent. Very exciting! Looking forward to the next one.

Somebody sent me an email about G. R. G's book "Anotomy of Judo" and the possibilities of getting it reprinted. I'm sorry I seem to have "lost" your email. Its is something, we are considering. And will try and advertise it sufficently once the reprinting is sorted out. Again sorry, I hope you get this?

GREAT NEWS,
Sherborne Boys entered a team of ten for the second time to the national private school' championship last Saturday.
We came away with
FIVE SILVER medals & ONE BRONZE. This put Sherborne THIRD overall!!
A great achievement by the boys.

New logo is on its way! I've put it on the facebook site, haven't got it ready for this site yet. Plans for T-shirts etc are in motion - all going onto this website soon!
