A motly bunch, after the session. Deservedly so really.
The last ‘Special’ for this academic year, took place last Sunday in the usual spot of the University of Bath’s dojo. A great facility and one that really makes a fitting place to do this special training session! As you’ll know if you follow these events at all, its one of the best and prettiest training centres in the UK!
Schools represented at the training event were, from Bath: St Stephens, Oldfield Park Juniors, King Edwards Junior, Weston All Saints, Bathford & Combe Down. Slightly further afield was also Longvernal School and Hazlegrove Prep School, Sparkford.
Mid training session – all working hard
These are great opportunities for all the students invited to try out their skills with other unfamiliar judo students. To increase the learning potential of these sessions, we get one of members of the University’s High Performance Judo Programme. This time we had Chandler Hill, one of the up-coming players.
It was a lot of fun, lots of learning and laughing throughout the long session of hard work and training! Next one will be planned for around October. Well done all those who came! Lets hope even more come next time, without the lovely weather to stop them?
