Provides judo teaching and coaching; the majority as extra/co- curricula sports clubs in state & private schools. Additional training is available outside set sessions. We also run the coaching of the student club at the University of Bath. Plus a recreational session there for adults on a Tuesday (see the page linked). A good friend of my father and a very kind man. He helped me a lot when i was first over in Japan. Unfortunately no longer with us. I will try and put more, personal memories here but for the time being, here's a link to the BJA's elegy
Yves Klein
Another good friend of my dad's. I love to put him in here, he was a pretty good judo player but as an artist, he was great! Again, I'm a little pushed for time and to do the man justice would be difficult here. So have a quick look at his wikipedia page...

Juergen Klinger
Ran the Judo Programme at Bath from 2007 to 2019 (I'm pretty sure I"m right). He was a great judo teacher. Greatly respected by all who knew him. He did far more than I can cover in the space available. He past away early 2023 and is sorely missed by all!
Adam Hall
Adam, is a good friend to Gleeson Judo, help out on several Specials too. He is now Head of the High Performance Programme at the University of Bath. The man to know if you want to get on in this sport!
Greg Varey
Greg, again a great friend of Gleeson Judo. He too has helped out on several Specials (you can see him on the home page). A great competitor and now assistant coach to Adam at the Uni of Bath. There's much more to be said but space doesn't really allow -
